HOW DO I WIN?

Accumulate the highest amount of assets in cash and property during the 90‑minute playing time, using the standard MONOPOLY® long‑game rules.

COMPETITION FORMAT

Each table will consist of four players and a banker. Each player will come from a different team. To enhance networking opportunities, you will not be playing at the same table with your other three team members. At the end of timed played, your score will be added to those of your other team members to arrive at a team total. Players will play for both the team title and individual title.

BANKERS

Each table will have an assigned banker. The banker will distribute money to players, hold and distribute title deed cards, hold houses and hotels for purchase, auction houses and hotels, loan money, and collect taxes, fines, loans and interest. Bankers will also help players calculate scores and complete score sheets.

REFEREES

There will be several referees on hand during play. They will clarify rules, settle disputes, help calculate scores, and complete score sheets. A player may appeal the referee's ruling to the Judge (if available).

JUDGE (if available)

The Judge's decision is final in all disputes.

GAME BOARD RULES

The standard MONOPOLY® long‑game rules apply. You can find the basic MONOPOLY® instructions in the document “Monopoly Rules.” “Speed Die” will not be in use.

SCORING

You will receive your score sheet when you arrive at registration. Scores will be tallied based on the amount of assets in cash and property you have in possession at the end of 90 minutes. Example: if you have $700 in cash and own Boardwalk (not mortgaged), your score will be $1100.

END OF ROUND

When time is called after 90 minutes, play must cease. If a player has already thrown the dice before time is called, that player will complete that move and any transaction that may result. Players will calculate their scores and complete the score sheets. The table banker and referee will assist anyone who needs help. Score sheets must be signed by the player and countersigned by a banker or referee.

IMPORTANT: Each player MUST turn in their score sheet to the banker. It is crucial that we receive EVERY sheet in order to complete score checking and announce winners in a timely fashion. If you do not want your score to count, write “do not count” at the top of your sheet.
